The main hall in the Grandstand is currently used for community based activities, and is rented out by the City Council for different kinds of purposes.

The weighing room - where the jockeys used to be weighed before racing - is also used for holiday activities (e.g. the Jam Factory) and can be rented via the City Council for other purposes.

The Grandstand is located in the West Common in Lincoln, one of the most beautiful open green spaces in the City of Lincoln.
